Project Portfolio

CET supports a wide range of projects. Major areas of focus include: the development of STEM teaching technologies; social and behavioral research into technology user and maker practices; and public-facing design projects that allow people to use information technologies and data in new and creative ways. Another major area of focus is cross-disciplinarity. Every CET project involves pairing faculty researchers and students from across disciplinary divides, allowing different facets of the Cal Poly community to interact around concrete projects that produce new research and technologies that are critical, engaged, and forward-looking. Here is a sample of three current projects sponsored by CET:
